-DHA is the active ingredient which is derived from the sugar cane. A natural reaction occurs on the top layer of the skin to produce a healthy tan.

-Quick & easy

-Last as long as a traditional suntan, about 7 days.  It may last longer depending on the post care and condition of your skin.

*It is recommended to have a spray tan 2 days prior to a special occasion. If you have a special event on Saturday night, we suggest that you spray tan Thursday.

Prepare (prior to tan)

-Shower & exfoliate. Do not use oil based exfoliates.  Sugar with a little water is perfect.  Scrub the body with a wash cloth or soft loofah. Be careful not to damage the skin.

-Make sure the body is free of moisturizers & perfume.

-Shave any unwanted hair.

-Manicures and pedicures prior to spray tan.

Tanning Session Day

-Shower gently if needed, but do not apply moisturizer, deodorant, or perfume.

-What do I wear during the tan?

You enter the "NO JUDGEMENT ZONE" when you receive a Healthy Sol Tan.  Our technicians are trained/certified and assure you that you will feel at ease with our process.  You want to be tan so that you feel a little more confident in what you are wearing or for your special occasion.  People get tanned for many different reasons.  We have tanned people wearing shorts and a tee shirt.  Wear as little or as much as you want.  It's your tan...your choice.

-Remove all jewelry.

-Bring a hair tie to keep the hair off the neck.

-Inform me if there are any skin issues.

-Wear dark loose clothing post spray tan and flip flops.

Post Care

-Wait about 8-12 hours before showering.  The spray tan technician will discuss the time with you.

-Wait until after your first shower to exercise.

-If anything looks like it spots, runs or darker in a crease, do not try to fix it.

- Do not be alarmed if your face looks too dark later that day or when you wake up in the morning.

-Remember there is a cosmetic bronzer sitting on the surface as your tan develops underneath.  You will see a little color run off in your first shower, so do not worry.  It will look beautiful and natural after your first shower.

-Use a gentle sulfate free body wash, do not use bar soap.  Do not use Dove soap.  Scrubbing , exfoliating, shaving or waxing will cause the tan to fade more quickly.

-Moisturize your skin to prolong the tan.  Moisturizer morning and night.

-Use pure oils such as coconut, olive, avocado, sunflower or a clean moisturizing lotion.
